Kitchen Tune-Up recently made a $50,000 contribution to help build great futures and a new facility for the Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen Area (BGCAA) in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Kitchen Tune-Up was founded in 1988 in Aberdeen by David & Cynthia Haglund. “Our family has always supported organizations for kids. The Boys & Girls Club does wonderful things for our local youth, and our 5 kids enjoyed time there when they were young.”
Heidi Morrissey, Haglund’s daughter serves as the president for the national kitchen & bath remodeling franchise. “My husband and I were both teachers and value the importance of the programs that the Boys & Girls Club offers. From meals and snacks to a safe place to do homework or hang out, we are excited to be a part of the new facility in our hometown. It’s an amazing place for our local youth to spend time,” said Morrissey. You can like the Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen Area on Facebook here.
