Your training begins with a home study component that covers the groundwork for opening your own successful Kitchen Tune-Up business. After you complete this portion of your training you’ll travel for a five day session of KTUniversity at our Home Office in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Your ongoing training will then consist of online modules that you can access from anywhere. We are committed to providing the resources, information, and training necessary to operate a successful Kitchen Tune-Up franchise.

We suggest franchisees choose the business model that best aligns with their goals and investment level. There are three different models that our franchise owners can choose from:

  • Mobile kitchen consulting: Home-based consultants work with customers in their homes, providing information and pricing quotes. These professionals have a flexible schedule that works particularly well with life and family commitments.

  • Design centers: Design centers are by-appointment locations that welcome potential customers to learn more. Franchisees that choose to operate in a design center benefit from the flexibility of an appointment system with the convenience of an on-site location.
  •  
  • Retail centers: Operating a retail center allows the franchisee the ability to both take appointments and welcome walk-in customers. These locations are open typical retail hours and are often highly visible in the community.
